How TranspaSearch works

From request to finished job. What we do, what you do, and what it costs.

For households and businesses

From a question to quotes you can lay side by side, in four steps.

  1. Describe the job

    A few short questions about what needs doing, where and when. No three-page quote form.

  2. We find suitable companies

    We put your request to at most 4 companies that work in your area and genuinely do this kind of work. Any more and nobody bothers to reply properly.

  3. Compare the quotes

    You receive responses with a price and an approach. Compare them side by side, ask questions and read reviews from earlier customers.

  4. Choose who does it

    You are never committed. Pick the company that fits best — or none at all, which is also fine.

For specialist companies

You only get requests that match your trade and your service area, and you decide which ones you take.

  1. Register your company

    You give us your services, your service area and your Chamber of Commerce number. Registering and keeping a profile cost nothing.

  2. We check your details

    We check your Chamber of Commerce registration, ask for proof of insurance and verify certifications with the body that issues them. Anything we could not verify is not shown as verified on your profile.

  3. You see the request before you pay

    Trade, town, scope, frequency and urgency are free to see. The contact details are released only when you release the request yourself.

  4. You respond and finish the job

    You send a quote from your dashboard or call the customer. If the request turns out to be unusable, you claim your credit back yourself.

What does it cost?

Nothing, for you as a customer. Companies pay for the right to answer a request. That is why a request goes to at most 4 companies — any more and nobody would respond seriously.

How we check companies

We check the Chamber of Commerce registration, ask for valid public liability insurance and verify certifications with the issuing body. Where we could not verify something, we say so.

How we handle reviews

Only customers with a real job can review. Companies may reply publicly once and can have nothing removed. Neither can we, unless a review breaks our rules.

What we don't do

We do not write reviews and we do not promise you a percentage you will save — what a job costs depends on the job. Companies can buy more visibility, and where they do we say so; the ranking itself is published in full, weights included.
